    Re: tubing bender

I like the JD Square myself there's a couple of options I would recomend 1st is a degree wheel and 2nd if your going to

bend much 2" tubing I would get a hydraulic cylinder or drink about 6 red bulls before you start ! There's several different

kinds to choose from and most of them operate basically the same. From what I've seen the JD squaure price is

competitive, the dies are where you tie up your money.

    YERT !

ROGER I HAVE THE J.D. 2 BENDER WITH THE UPDATED BACK GUIDE FROM M-TECH SUPPLY. LOOK AROUND THE DIES AND SHIPPING THEM IS WERE IT COST YOU. I THINK THE BENDER WAS LESS THAN 3 BILLS BUT THE DIES ARE COSTLY.

    Re: tubing bender

I have the JD2 also, except I did the air over hyrolic, good choice, but will be cahnging it some to a power pack and posible longer cylinder. I know of a few places that you can buy the air over hydrolic stuff cheaper than the M-tec and the others. Like Roller said, the dies and shipping is what kills you. If you do the hydrolic set up, you can mount it just about any where even on a cart with wheels verses mounting it to the concrete or like John, a heavy object that can be moved with a tow motor. Let me know if want the info on the hydrolic set up.

    Re: tubing bender

Check on all the stuff to make a JD2 work (dies, air/hydraulic, etc) and aggravation of using it. We had over $2000 in ours with all the stuff and I hated the thing. I have less than $3000 in the Huth I have now and love it. You can also use it like a press. Add up all the cost first then check into one like mine...stronger, much easier to use, much more versatile, and not much more money.
